On the occasion of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 2025), TMA Solutions joined hands with Insignary and OSBC to successfully co-organize the 14th OSBC Open Source Conference in Seoul. With the theme “Connecting AI in Open Source & Software Supply Chain Security (SBOM)”, the event brought together hundreds of experts, developers, and technology leaders from around the world to discuss emerging trends in artificial intelligence, open-source software, and cybersecurity. As a prestigious annual event of the global open-source community, OSBC not only delivered a series of in-depth sessions but also created valuable opportunities for knowledge-sharing and collaboration among technology enterprises and international developers. This year’s focus addressed critical industry challenges, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Software Bill of Materials (SBOM), and the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Representing TMA Solutions, Mr. Dung Dao – Director of the AI Center, was invited to deliver a presentation titled “Responsible AI in Open-Source AI Models: Challenges and Solutions.” Mr. Dung Dao speaking at the conference In his presentation, Mr. Dung highlighted both the opportunities and risks of open-source AI models. While adoption is rapidly increasing due to lower costs, faster time to value, and strong developer interest, organizations face critical challenges related to cybersecurity, compliance, and intellectual property. He introduced the concept of Responsible AI, which is grounded in fairness, transparency, accountability, privacy, and reliability. These are essential principles to guide the safe and sustainable use of AI. Mr. Dung also shared practical solutions to strengthen AI accountability, including the use of model cards to build trust, AI Bills of Materials (AI BOM) to document design and dependencies, and MLOps pipelines to ensure reproducibility and audit readiness. He further explained approaches to reduce bias in both traditional machine learning and generative AI, and tools to mitigate hallucination in large language models. On August 20, 2025, TMA Solutions participated in "The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Chapter 3" (TFOAI3), an annual business and technology event held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The Future of Artificial Intelligence: Chapter 3 (TFOAI3) marks the third edition of this influential series at Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam At the event, Ms. Yen Ho, Healthcare Product Lead at TMA Solutions, shared key insights during a panel discussion on how AI is transforming healthcare. She shared TMA’s journey from outsourcing to solution innovation, highlighted current barriers to adoption in Vietnam, and outlined the emerging opportunities that AI will bring in the coming years. With more than 15 years of dedicated R&D, TMA Solutions has steadily evolved from one of Vietnam’s largest IT outsourcing companies into a solutions provider with healthcare as a strategic focus. Ms. Yen explained that this shift is driven by two factors: the urgent need for digital healthcare as populations age and chronic diseases rise, and the rapid technological advances in AI, IoT, and cloud computing that now make scalable healthcare solutions possible. “AI is at the center — we use it to analyze health data, enable remote monitoring, and support preventive and personalized care. This helps us move from just outsourcing to being a solutions partner,” she noted, highlighting the importance of AI in reshaping healthcare." It has proven effective in areas such as medical image analysis, predicting readmission risks, automating repetitive tasks, and supporting clinical decision-making. At the same time, she noted its limitations, including the lack of holistic reasoning, human empathy, fully autonomous decision-making, and unresolved regulatory and ethical challenges. One of the most pressing issues she raised was the challenge of medical data in Vietnam: “Everyone talks about AI, but where is the budget for applying it? Who owns most of our data? After so many years of development, we lost most of the data — especially in Vietnam, where we still do not have a unified EMR system.” She explained that the absence of centralized electronic medical records and standardized frameworks has slowed AI adoption, making it difficult for promising initiatives to scale. To accelerate progress, she emphasized the need for centralized health data, open access for businesses to innovate, and solutions to insurance-related issues that distort patient records. From July 16 to 18, 2025, TMA Solutions attended ELECS Vietnam 2025, which took place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC), Ho Chi Minh City. The event featured 1:1 B2B matching sessions with Vietnamese–Korean interpretation support, enabling in-depth technical discussions and business networking. On July 18, 2025, TMA Solutions took part in the VIP Members Meeting organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association (HCA). The event brought together the HCA Board of Directors and representatives of VIP member businesses. The meeting focused on the proposed direction and implementation plan for the HCA Smart Factory Solutions program, which aims to support digital transformation in manufacturing.
