One of the most pressing issues she raised was the challenge of medical data in Vietnam:“Everyone talks about AI, but where is the budget for applying it? Who owns most of our data? After so many years of development, we lost most of the data — especially in Vietnam, where we still do not have a unified EMR system.”She explained that the absence of centralized electronic medical records and standardized frameworks has slowed AI adoption, making it difficult for promising initiatives to scale. On August 7, 2025, SAP announced the opening of a new research and development center in Ho Chi Minh City.
