Vietnam is prioritizing the development of its semiconductor industry by attracting investment from foreign companies, especially those from the United States. Both countries have agreed to cooperate in innovation and see the semiconductor sector as a key pillar in their partnership.The U.S. government has committed to supporting Vietnam in building a semiconductor ecosystem, including the establishment of two training centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to train tens of thousands of semiconductor engineers. Vietnam is also actively collaborating with the U.S. on OECD semiconductor initiatives to deepen its integration into the global supply chain.Minister of Planning and Investment Dung Nguyen emphasized that this initiative marks the start of an internationally standardized training program that will enhance Vietnam’s technological capacity in the semiconductor field. From September 10 to 12, TMA Korea participated in the K-ICT WEEK 2024 in Busan. The focus was on connecting local businesses in industries such as maritime, finance, and logistics with advanced AI technologies. Through the event, we gained a deeper understanding of client needs, expanded our business activities, and increased awareness of TMA in the South Korean market.

On September 12, TMA participated in the Tech4life Expo & Summit 2024, an event celebrating National Digital Transformation Day in Ho Chi Minh City. The event attracted over 2,000 delegates from both domestic and international economies, including South Korea, China, India, Japan, France, Sri Lanka, Russia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and Germany. It featured four conference sessions with over 30 speakers, more than 50 exhibition booths, and over 200 business networking opportunities.
