TMA Advances Collaboration in Brain Health, AI and Digital Health at UHS–Swinburne Strategy Co-creation Workshop
On October 5, 2026, the University of Health Sciences, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (UHS) and Swinburne University of Technology held the UHS–Swinburne Strategy Co-creation Workshop “Collaboration for a Healthier Tomorrow.” The workshop set out to connect capabilities in brain health, AI and digital health, and to identify feasible collaboration priorities for the next 12–18 months. TMA was represented by Mr. Tran Phuc Hong, Senior Vice President of TMA Solutions, and Ms. Ho Thi Hoang Yen, Healthcare Product Lead of TMA Solutions.

From shared needs to collaboration priorities
After opening remarks from the leaders of UHS and Swinburne, keynote sessions covered brain health in the Asia-Pacific region and Vietnam’s priority issues such as aging, dementia, mental health and stroke, as well as the vision of the Asia-Pacific Brain Health Institute (APBHI).
Participants mapped capabilities across research, clinical and community care, technology and innovation, training, and partnerships. Working in parallel co-creation groups, they defined priority problems and pilot steps for each area. The workshop closed by agreeing on key priorities and a collaboration roadmap for 2026–2027.
TMA shares insights on digital health and partnerships
In the Technology and Innovation group, Ms. Yen shared TMA’s digital health solutions and what is needed to bring them into healthcare settings, including product requirements, system integration and pilot readiness. In the Partnerships group, Mr. Hong discussed the role technology companies can play in long-term collaboration, from the resources they can contribute to the mechanisms that keep partnerships going.
The workshop brought together leaders and experts from VNU-HCM member universities, hospitals, health authorities, innovation centers and technology companies, so the discussions stayed closely tied to research, clinical practice and real-world deployment.
TMA’s participation reflects its commitment to working with universities, healthcare institutions and partners to turn AI and digital health research into practical solutions for Vietnam’s healthcare system.
